Dr. Lesley Parker, DVM

I have been fortunate to live a life filled with animals and animal adventures, so becoming a veterinarian seemed like an obvious path. I was raised in New England, always surrounded by dogs and cats, but my family also spent several years traveling and living overseas. Throughout this time I was lucky enough to observe many exotic animals in their natural habitat; including studying animals such as zebras, giraffe, elephants, and hippos during a college semester in Kenya. These experiences all led to a biology degree in Oregon, followed by veterinary school at The Ohio State University. My husband and I live a simpler life now. We love the Pacific Northwest and it is a perfect place to raise our two children. Our life is filled with school, sports, boating, and appreciating all that Olympia has to offer.
